Introducing the Peter Rose Award: 50 Years in the Making - 50 years with one company says a lot. But it’s not just the time, it’s the standard set across those years that matters most.  As Peter Rose reaches an extraordinary 50 years of continuous service at J A Brooks this month, we’ve created the Peter Rose Award to recognise what his career truly represents: exceptional workmanship, consistency, and the lasting impact one person can have on a business.

Peter is the first to receive this award. From next year, it will be presented annually to one operative on site who demonstrates the same level of care, skill and professionalism that Peter has brought to every project for five decades.  Starting as an apprentice in 1975, Peter’s influence extends far beyond his own work. His approach has shaped not only how we deliver projects, but how we develop people, setting expectations for quality that continue to define J A Brooks today.  

Longevity in construction is rare. Sustained excellence is even rarer. This award ensures Peter’s legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of tradespeople for years to come.  We’ll be sharing more of Peter’s story soon, keep an eye out for the full feature on our website.
